City Hearts Christmas Appeal 2019

7 Oct 2019, 8 p.m.

Once again, The Friendship Foundation (UK- Romania) are collecting new, unused items (listed below) for the City Hearts Christmas Appeal to help 500 survivors of modern slavery in Lancashire and the North West.

City Hearts provides safe houses, social support and introduction to employment leading to independence.  This support is not time limited or unilaterally withdrawn, so the numbers just keep growing.

Each year the dedicated team try to provide Christmas gifts for all their clients which you will appreciate is a tremendous undertaking.

Want to Contribute?

The Friendship Foundation will be pleased to receive your contributions which they will deliver to City Hearts on your behalf.

* Toiletry sets - creams, shampoos, conditioner, body washes and sponges

* Chocolates - these must be sealed in a bag or tube (Heroes and Celebrations are great).

* Fluffy socks/slipper socks - the type sold at Primark in a variety of sizes with medium the most popular.

* New hats, scarves and gloves

Items for men, women or children must be new and unused - only those listed above are needed - thank you.

Drop off location All Saint's Church, Hesketh Bank before 30th November or contact the charity by email - [email protected] if you would like items to be collected.

All donations will be greatly appreciated and, of course, valued by the survivors who usually have absolutely nothing.

Thank you in anticipation of your help.
