Things are moving on and restrictions are being lifted, therefore, we are planning and preparing our church building in order to reopen your church for services from Sunday, 19 July. This should give us sufficient time to ensure that we have everything in place to safely do so.
We are also looking at how best to open our church building for private prayer and as soon as decisions are made we will post the details here.
Our prime focus is on preparing to resume Sunday worship, however, the measures needed will make it necessary to impose changes, for example, you will be asked to sanitize your hands upon arrival and on departure, the pews will be taped off to allow a space of 1.5metres between people, therefore, you will be shown to a seat by a member of the sides team. There will be no service booklets and hymn books and your 'gift to God' or collection will be placed in the plate at the entrance. This is all to ensure that you feel safe and secure whilst taking part in the service.
For more information contact the Vicar, Fr Shaun Baldwin, email: [email protected] or telephone 01772 335310
In the meantime there are lots of activities and on line services to take part in. For more details please check out Services and Events. We would love you to join us.
We update this message regularly to keep you informed of progress and to amend the dates of the events. We look forward to the day when we can all meet in person until then take care, keep safe and well. Take time each day to read your Bible for words of comfort and reassurance that God is with us and protecting us.
