DESCRIPTION:The church community of St Michel and All Angels welcomes the 
 wider community to enjoy and take part in a Christmas tree festival as we 
 prepare for Christmas. The programme of events will be opened by the Mayor
  of Preston at 12 noon on Thursday 12 December and will end with a Christi
 ngle service in the afternoon of Sunday 15 December. As well as a display 
 of 40 trees decorated by local groups\, charities\, businesses and other o
 rganisations\, there will be activities for children\, card-making and gar
 land-making sessions for adults\, a concert and a talk on Christmas music.
  Light refreshments and homemade cakes will be available.  Admission free.
