DESCRIPTION:There will be a memorial service for the 80th anniversary of t
 he Freckleton Air Crash on Friday 23rd August starting at 10.30am at The C
 hildrens' Grave with an act of Remembrance led by the clergy of the three 
 churches in the village.\n\nWe will move into church for a short service w
 here we will be addressed by the Mayor and the Bishop of Blackburn\, will 
 preach.\n\nAfter the service\, we will process to Trinity Gardens\, where 
 the Mayor will unveil a new plaque and the Bishop will bless it.\n\nThere 
 will be refreshments and a display of memorabilia in the village hall.\n\n
 If you are a family member or similar representing one of the victims plea
 se speak to us before the service and we can ensure you get a flower with 
 the name of your loved one on it for the Act of Remembrance.\n\nWe are ver
 y grateful for the assistance of many people in preparing for this very im
 portant service. Especially so many people who have given up their time to
  ensure the grave and church yard look their best.\n\nWe pray for all for 
 whom this will be such an emotional day.
