DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 13th September the church will be open all day to 
 welcome walkers and cyclists taking  part in the Ride and Stride sponsored
  event  in aid of Friends of Kent Churches). \nThat afternoon\,  2- 4pm\, 
 you are invited to visit your parish church. There will be a variety of ac
 tivities including:\n•	Go up the bell-tower and try ringing the church b
 ells.\n•	Learn a few flower arranging tips from a floristry demo.\n•	T
 ombola\, bookstall\, cakes and other refreshments in the hall. \n•	Explo
 re the historic building.\n•	See the brass of Thomas Halle in the lady c
 hapel\, which will be uncovered for the day. \nAll proceeds towards the co
 st of repairs to the church roof.
