DESCRIPTION:The Easter Vigil originally was a night of “story-telling”
  throughout Easter Saturday night. The story told was that\, recorded in t
 he Scriptures\, of God saving his people (saving them from slavery in the 
 exodus from Egypt and from oppression when they were exiled in Babylon). A
 s we see ourselves as an ongoing part of this story\, the Easter cross and
  resurrection comes to life for us:  it is our own story of being saved.\n
 Our Easter Vigil will be the telling of this story beginning at 7.30pm Hol
 y Saturday with Old Testament readings\, music and prayer.
