DESCRIPTION:Care and the love of knitting and crochet have been combined i
 n a prayerful ministry that reaches out to others.  Many blessings are wor
 ked into every shawl.  The knitter or crocheter begins each one with praye
 rs for the recipient and intentions are continued throughout its creation.
   When completed it is offered a final blessing before being sent on its w
 ay.\n\nShawls are made for many reasons - for those who are housebound\, s
 ick\, bereaved\, undergoing medical procedures or who are distressed in so
 me way.  They are also given for occasions of celebration and to mark the 
 beginning of a new stage in a recipient's life. \n\nNew knitters and croch
 eters are very welcome!  Refreshments available. If you know someone who w
