Daily Scripture

‘I will give thanks to you, Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all your marvellous works. And those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Lord, have never failed those who seek you.’ (Psalm 9:1 &10)

Daily Reflection

We are going through a pretty tough time at the moment. You may not feel like thanking God with your whole heart. Your trust might be wavering a little. One of the wonderful things about the 150 Psalms is how honest they are; full of human emotion. We too can be honest with God. If you are feeling low – tell God. He is still there. He is constant. It is our feelings that may have changed not God’s; His love for you has not changed. Keep trusting: He is still there; still in control. There have been times in my life when I’ve not felt able to pray; but I’ve looked back and know that it was me, God was still there. And so I continue to “Give thanks with my whole heart. The Lord never fails those who seek Him.”
