Daily Scripture

'For you yourself created my inmost parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I thank you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are your works, my soul knows well.' (Psalm 139:12 & 13)

Daily Reflection

Psalm 139 is a beautiful psalm thanking God for who He is. Acknowledging that He is our creator….that He is YOUR creator. Acknowledging that He knows us, and He cares for us. (He knows when we sit and when we rise.) Acknowledging that He is always there with us – whatever we are going through. “Where can I go from your spirit?” the psalmist asks. Nowhere; He is always with us. The psalmist recognises just how incredible life is – and that God did it: “I thank you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” YOU are wonderfully made; what God has done in creating YOU is awesome! Thank God today. Please look out your Bible, read and pray the whole of this psalm today for yourself.
