Daily Scripture

Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4 v 6-7)

Daily Reflection

Nobody said that life would be easy. There are always hard and dark times - no matter how deep our faith. We are collectively, as a nation, as a community and individually facing some very tough situations. St. Paul suggests here that we should let our worries be known to God through prayer and it is through prayer that we will find peace. In life, taking risks and making changes is never easy but we can be courageous and face our fears through prayer. When we bring to God all of our concerns, we choose to believe that even though life is not going as we think it should and in our time, God is still good, he can be trusted and you will be at peace. Peace be with you.
