The church is open on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, 10 am - 12 noon, and 2 pm - 4 pm. Visitors are very welcome, but asked to observe the various restrictions put in place to avoid any possibility of infection.
On entering the church you will be asked to sign your name and give contact details as well as sanitize your hands. Some areas are roped off, as wherever you sit or touch has to be cleaned when you leave, to avoid cross infection. The outside toilet is available. There are pews and seats where you can sit quietly.
At St John's we have had a new servery installed, and this is now very nearly operational. Services resumed in September, but the congregation are not allowed to sing although a small choir sings from the rear of the church, socially distanced. Please let the Rector know if you are coming to a service as we have to socially distance everyone and pew space is limited.
The Rector records a weekly service which is available from the website, wittershamchurch.com and there are also daily prayers and reflections online.
