The Crosscrake PCC met last evening (8th July) via Zoom and decided to move towards opening the building for church worship with caution. We will aim to open the building for a said communion service on Sunday 26th July at 1030. The guidelines issued to us allow for this with no singing, only bread being taken and risk assessments having been completed and actioned. If this opening for communion goes well we will offer another service in the church building at the end of August and then review the decision at our September PCC before making a decision on whether or not to open more regularly.

We will confirm this Crosscrake building opening on the 26th by the 19th of July and will publish the precautions we are taking so that people can make an informed decision about whether or not they would like to attend. We will ask people to let us know if they intend to come to help with our planning.

PCC will review our decision on the 2nd September in light of advice at that time. If you have any questions or concerns please do get in touch.

PCC also agreed that we would continue to offer video worship throughout the summer until at least 6th September and will review that at our next meeting on 2nd September. Those services will be available on the church website services page. Coffee and connect will also continue although we will need to find a host whilst I (Mat) am on holiday in August.
