 and contemplative atmosphere that make Rydal Hall such a beloved place of 
 retreat.\n\nWe are delighted to invite you to this Quiet Day at Rydal Hall
  — a reflective and theologically rich exploration of Jesus’ promise: 
 “I came that they may have life\, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10)
 . The reverend Lawrence Basham is chaplain of Rydal Hall and rector of Gra
 smere and Rydal.\n\nThe day will explore two contrasting narratives that s
 hape our lives:\n• The scarcity story: “There isn’t enough. I am not
  enough.”\n• The abundance story: “God is with us. There is enough. 
 We can live freely.”\nThrough Scripture\, silence\, guided reflection\, 
 and the beauty of the Hall’s grounds\, we will uncover what it means to 
 live from God’s abundance — not sentimentally\, but truthfully and cou
 rageously.\n\nWhat to Expect\n• Opening worship rooted in Psalm 23: “I
  shall not want.”\n• Three reflections on abundance in creation\, in J
 esus’ ministry\, and in God’s future.\n• Opportunities for prayer an
 d silent meditation.\n• Outdoor practices highlighting the gifts surroun
 ding us — light\, water\, stillness\, creation’s generosity.\n• A cl
 osing act of thanksgiving as we return to the world as people grounded in
