Church of England Diocese of Chester St. Paul Hooton

A Message from the Vicar

3 Jul 2020, noon

From this Sunday (5th July) we recommence worshipping God together in Church. You can see details of our Services on the 'Service and Events' tab. Requests for the prayer list can be made by ringing the Parish Office. Weddings, Baptisms and Funeral with a maximum number of 30 people present as well as other conditions for people's health and safety.

So how will Sunday be different?

The Hall will need to be kept locked on Sundays. The Sunday Club will not be restarting until the Autumn. In worship the new rules require us not to have hymns, to have a one-way system for coming in and going out and Communicants will receive the Sacrament in their seats. In everything that we do together, we shall be endeavoring to keep everyone safe and well. So things will have to be a little different. We will be keeping social distancing in church and entrance to the church will only be by the main doors. The whole service will be on the Sunday Link and no other books will be given out. There will also be hand sanitiser available.

Remembering you in Prayer

Almighty God, we praise you for the many blessings you have given to those who worship you in this house of prayer

and we pray that all who seek you in this place may find, and being filled with the Holy Spirit, may become a living

temple acceptable to you:

Through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord
