Ascension Day celebrates Jesus's ascension to heaven after he was resurrected on Easter Day. This is the first of three public services that are held in the chapel during the year.

This is the Sunday nearest to the feast of St Peter when Swettenham Church will celebrate its foundation and dedication to St Peter.
We hope that as many friends of St Peter's, old and new, along with members of the other Rural Daneside Churches and the wider community will join us for this friendly service - a real celebration of village, church and community.
Light refreshments will be served following the service.

A happy and fun-filled afternoon of traditional activities and entertainment. It will start with a procession from Beechwood Drive at 1:45pm, led by the magnificent Audley Brass Band. The opening will be at 2pm. Further details to come.

Come and join your neighbours when they gather on the green on Beechwood Drive for some joyous community carol singing with a brass band leading the music. The time is to be confirmed at a later date.
