Please be aware that guidance on church opening is being updated frequently. We will do our best to ensure that information provided here is up to date.

Following the coronavirus lockdown in 2020, Hulme Walfield Church will only be opening for services for people who are shielding. It is the largest church in the Rural Daneside Group, so we can keep a greater distance between members of the congregation.

For those who come, there is a long list of precautions we need to take, and people will obviously need to take care in what they touch. Access to particular areas and to some pews will be closed off.

Services will start again in July 2020. For the time being, they will be held on the first and third Sunday in the month at 9:45am. See the Services and Events page. The week's pew sheet of prayers and readings will be available on the News and Notices page, as will service sheets.

At the moment, we are unable to hold weddings and christenings.
