A message from our vicar:

Dear Friends

With great sadness we learn of the death of His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. He has been a faithful servant of our nation and the Commonwealth for so many years, and a fixture in our national life. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

God of our lives, we give thanks for the life of Prince Philip,
For his love of our country, and for his devotion to duty.
We entrust him now to your love and mercy,
through our Redeemer Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Parish churches at Marton, Siddington, Eaton and Swettenham will be open later today if you wish to call in to say a prayer and to light a candle. There is also a sheet of paper for messages of condolences and this will be compiled in a Parish Book of Remembrance. You will find this either in the church porch or inside the church.

Service on Sunday will of course recognise the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh.
