Welcome to this week’s newsletter – and a very pictorial edition it is too! We have loads of lovely photographs: Easter flowers at church, Easter bonnets, children’s Easter activities and of course Week 6 of the Munros’ stunning camellia now in full flower.
Among the pictures are the usual range of articles: Tricia has given us a book review; Gemma reminds us of our safeguarding responsibilities; there is an advert for a Deputy Group Scout Leader; and we can once again order our bedding plants from our Scout and Guide Group – this opportunity was cancelled last year owing to Covid. Please see the list of plants available and the prices on the second PDF attachment to this email. It would be great to support our Scout and Guide Group – this is their main fundraiser each year and I’m sure we all want colourful gardens and planters this summer.
It’s not a big read this week, but there is plenty to interest: a particular thank you to Eleanor for sharing her lovely Easter garden and to Satsuki-Mei for her reflection on what lockdown has been like for her. She also makes a great suggestion for the church family, one we can all endorse! If any other of our young people would like to send in their own reflections, we’d be really interested in their stories.
Have a good (if chilly) weekend, and enjoy (safely) the increased relaxation of regulations next week!
