Church of England Diocese of Chester Saint Michael and All Angels, Macclesfield

Sunday after Ascension (24th May)

Ahead of next Sunday being Pentecost, today is the final Sunday in the Church's season of Easter. And there's no less reason to worship Jesus and celebrate our fellowship with Him and through Him to one another!

Through 'St Michael's at Home' we're delighted to lead you in worship from our various homes around Macclesfield.
Led by our rector, Martin, & his wife, Catherine, with storytelling from Aidan & Pam, Bible reading by Sharon, creed led by Izzy, and a musical item w a host of participants.

Today's service also links in with Thy Kingdom Come - the global prayer initiative seeking to share our faith in Jesus with those who don't yet know Him.

You can join in our worship by downloading the Order of Service below.

For copyright reasons we do not include song tracks within this service but we suggest a few songs you might hum, sing or simply listen to, at various points in the service. Pause the video at these points, and click on the appropriate link displayed below. If you open this in a separate tab, after the song you can easily return to the recorded service where you left off.

Choice of first song: Our God is a great big God, or Faithful One (shorter version), or Faithful One (longer version)

Second song: Thy Kingdom Come (with songwords) or Thy Kingdom Come (no words, just an apt video of Christian love during this pandemic)

Final song (included within the service, since recorded by our own people): Great is Thy faithfulness

Thank you for joining us in worship. If you would like to contribute in some way, perhaps with a reading or acting out the storytelling, or you'd like to share something you've experienced in worship or you'd like us to support you in prayer then please do get in touch.
