Church of England Diocese of Chester Saint Michael and All Angels, Macclesfield

Sunday worship (5th July) - recording of today's service via Zoom

Although churches are permitted to be open for public prayer and worship as of yesterday (4th July), today we continue to worship virtually, with members of the church community gathering together by Zoom. Comprising prayer, hymn-singing, a reading and an enacted Bible story we invite you to join us by clicking on the image above recording of our live service on 5th July.  [Apologies that the beginning of the service was not recorded.]

Today's Bible readings are from Song of Songs 2:8-13 and Matthew 11: 28-30, and Lynne reminds us of God's passionate love for each of us: we are invited to an intimate relationship with God through Jesus.

All the contributors remain in their own homes. You can join in saying the words in worship by downloading the Order of Service below.

From next Sunday we intend to be running a 'merged' service, with some people being present in the church building whilst others join in virtually online. If you would like to join us on a future Sunday, please do. Contact us for the Zoom link details as necessary.

If you would like to give to St Michael's, please visit our online donations page to make a one-off donation or contact us to arrange to give regularly.

St Michael's church building is now open for private prayer and contemplation, 11am-3pm Monday to Saturday.
