Church of England Diocese of Chester Saint Michael and All Angels, Macclesfield

St Michael's Worship - Sunday 27th September 2020

So, with the tweak to our pattern of corporate worship, our service today was the first where everything was delivered via Zoom. This was broadcast into our church building where members of our church, together with people from a few other churches, joined in worship together.

This recording is of that Zoom service, with all contributions being from people online. Sadly we had yet another glitch with the technology (what's new?!) .. just after our second song, when the vicar's computer crashed. Why?!! Thank you for bearing with us!

Today our vicar Martin led our worship, whilst Mike gave us a stirring message based on Philippians 2:1-13.

Our first two songs have been provided by St Martin-in-the-Fields singers, and the last by members of our choir. All the song words and responses needed for the service are displayed on the screen.

If you would like to join a future service please do! Next week we will have two parallel services - one on Zoom, and another as people gather in St Michael's Church to worship there alongside others The services start at 10am on Sunday mornings (you'll need to wear a face covering in the building), or contact us for the Zoom link to be able to join in live online (join from 9.45am).
