Church of England Diocese of Chester Saint Michael and All Angels, Macclesfield

St Michael's Worship - Sunday 4th October 2020

Today is the feast day of St Francis; it marks the end of the Church's 'Season of Creation', so today's services reflect that.

Today we have held two simultaneous acts of worship, each using the same liturgy, songs, reading and prayers, as well as theme for the talk. The service in our church building is open to any member of the public to attend; the other was live on Zoom and this is a recording of it. May you also be able to participate and receive from God through it.

Today Paul led our worship, whilst David (who heads up our Eco-church group) spoke about the Earth's need for the biblical gift of jubilee. Can we act appropriately?

Our songs have been provided by St Martin-in-the-Field singers, and by members of our church choir. All the song words and service responses are displayed on the screen.

If you would like to join a future service please do! You will be welcome to gather in St Michael's Church to worship there alongside others (you'll need to wear a face covering), or contact us for the Zoom link to be able to join in live online (join from 9.45am). Both services start at 10am on Sunday mornings.
