Professional guitarist and composer William Hudd first picked up the guitar aged eight and was soon delighting his audiences with the popular rock tunes of the 1960’s &70’s. On hearing and later meeting the great Andres Segovia, William was inspired to explore the depth and versatility of the classical guitar. As one reviewer said "...rock music’s loss was ultimately classical music’s gain!”
We had a wonderful concert here in Ladbroke. It featured works by legendary composers: Scarlatti, Bach, Weiss, Sor, Tarrega, Albeniz, Granados plus William’s own compositions including his deeply atmospheric ’Nocturne’.
The audience of all ages was moved, inspired and entertained in equal measure.
