Prayer and Worship
Thought for the day - Tuesday 7th December
Isaiah 46 speaks of idols being carried by animals, before speaking of God as the one who is able to carry us. If we think of idols only as statues, we both risk being disrespectful to other faiths that we have failed to properly understand, and risk missing the things that are idols for us, the things that distract or deflect us from worshipping God and living according to his values.
Please give thanks for those who encourage fruitful relationships between different faiths..
If there is something you would like included in our daily prayers, or you would like to ask for private prayer for yourself or others, please contact Rev'd Louise Petheram on [email protected] or 01433 621918
