DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday Holy Communion Service at 7.30pm. This is the 
 day when we remember Jesus sharing the Last Supper with his disciples befo
 re his death. At the Last Supper Jesus washed the disciples’ feet\, whic
 h reminds us of the nature of Jesus\, who we serve\, but also the kind of 
 service we are meant to demonstrate in our love for one another. At the co
 nclusion of the service\, the altar is stripped\, symbolic of Jesus being 
 stripped. Following the service\, we hold a silent vigil until 10pm\, and 
 you are welcome to stay for all or just part of the vigil. We leave the se
 rvice in silence. Everyone is welcome whether you are used to church or no
