Church of England Diocese of Derby St. Stephen, Sinfin

Re-opening St Stephen's for public worship

25 Aug 2020, 9 a.m.

From Sunday 6th September, St Stephen’s will be open once again for public worship at 10.00am on Sunday Mornings.

We will seek to do this in line with current guidelines and as safely as possible.

We will also seek to make our worship available and accessible to as many people as possible.

In opening St Stephen’s Church for public worship, we are taking the following steps.

For all who want to worship God, but don’t think they can attend church ...

We really do understand, and you will still be able to join St Stephen’s in worship

by receiving weekly worship by email

by receiving printed material

We are also looking into the possibility of producing worship on Youtube.

For more details, please contact

Nigel on 01332 766995 or [email protected]

People should not attend IF:

they display any symptoms of Covid-19:

high temperature

new, dry continual cough

changes in your ability to taste

changes in your ability to smell

In these circumstances you must self-isolate for 14 days and contact

NHS Track and Trace website or text or phone 119.

People should also consider not attending IF

you have been screening or if you are considered vulnerable –

e.g. those with health issues and those aged 70 years or over.

However, the final decision rests with the individual.
