DESCRIPTION:St Matthew's Church and the adjacent Sacheverell-Bateman Mauso
 leum will be open to the public. St Matthew's Church is noted for its medi
 eval stained glass windows\, memorial brasses and armorial tiles. The Chur
 ch is listed in Simon Jenkins' Book "England's 1\,000 Best Churches" and i
 s well worth a visit.\nThere will be a display  of progress being made on 
 the National Heritage Lottery funded project to restore 4 of the medieval 
 glass windows\, including 3 that came from Dale Abbey at the dissolution o
 f the monastery.\nThe Morley School Show will also be taking place in the 
 Retreat House grounds next door from  12 noon to 5 pm.  Refreshments will 
 be available and all are welcome!\nTHE CHURCH SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT THE 
 EARLIER TIME OF 9.30 AM
