Service at the CE School have been suspended due to Covid-19 restrictions.  From 11th October a bi-weekly Sunday service at 10.0 am  will take place in the Parish Centre. If you would like more information please contact the Parish Centre Administrator on 0191 3883295

Our Family Service meets in the main hall of Chester-Le-Street C of E Primary School, South Pelaw. We are a group of people encompassing all ages who love our Lord.

We are a warm welcoming Christian community who worship in a range of styles. Children are an important part of our congregation with a crèche area provided for small children. ‘Light-seekers’ is the name given to our children’s groups which meet in two adjoining classrooms.

As well as Sunday worship we have 3 midweek informal Bible Study/ Home Groups.

Our monthly pattern of services are:

1st Sunday Parish Sunday All age service in the Parish Church

2nd Sunday Family Service with Holy Communion and Light-seekers

3rd Sunday All-age Service

4th Sunday Family Service and Light-seekers

5th Sunday Family Service and Light-seekers
