DESCRIPTION:As we grieve\, we find strength in the shared stories and memo
ries that bind us.\n\nWe meet every Monday at 3pm to 4.30pm (excluding ban
k holidays) in our café community room\, where our group offers friendshi
p and fellowship with a genuine concern for your wellbeing. We chat over a
cuppa and cover topics of interest where we can feel relaxed and cared fo
r.\n\nThese are some comments from the group:\n\n- I feel so grateful to t
he group for the help and support I have received at this time and so glad
I joined. Thank you\n\n- I have discovered – being recently bereaved my
self that a group of persons with similar loss\, is very helpful. Freedom
to talk is helpful when like-minded people can give vent to their feelings
. It’s not just having a non-judgmental group who will let you express y
our grief\; it is also the companionship that continues.\n\n- The group ha
s been a big help. You are not alone.\n\n- It was 6 months after losing my
husband and I was really struggling. I then decided to come along to the
bereavement group. It really helped me a lot. It is good to share your tho
ughts with others in the same situation and it’s all confidential. I am
so pleased I joined and made lovely friends.\n\n-We thank God for the supp
ort we have for each other in the Bereavement Support Group and the help w
e receive.\n\n- I would recommend this group for bereavement to anyone who
thinks they need help. I have been helped so much it is unbelievable\, yo
u are not judged\, you are not questioned\, you are listened to and advise
d and helped. It has helped me so much in a short period of time. Listenin
g to other people’s experiences makes me realise I am not losing the plo
t and I am going through what everybody else go through. They are brillian
 t.

They are brillian

to talk is helpful when like-minded people can give vent to their feelings

I am
so pleased I joined and made lovely friends.\n\n-We thank God for the supp
ort we have for each other in the Bereavement Support Group and the help w

thinks they need help. I have been helped so much it is unbelievable\, yo

They are brillian
 t.
