DESCRIPTION:St Barnabas' Church will be open for Heritage weekend on Satur
 day September 12th 2026. \n\nWe would like to encourage you all to visit t
 he church while it is open that day. Our volunteers will keep the Church b
 uilding open from 10am to 4pm. The Church is part of our local history. It
  was commissioned by George Fredrick D'Arcy Lambton in 1867 and dedicated 
 to St Barnabas. Find out more on our website: \n\nIn Church\, we will also
  host a Conservation Day\, at the same time as our Heritage opening hours.
  There will be information about local areas to visit Nature and about loc
 al projects to conserve nature. God's creation is being cared for by local
  people and we want you to know where and how to access it. \n\nWe are in 
 the process of building a Wild garden in the Church grounds. It will be so
 mewhere for the local community to visit\, rest\, observe nature and be st
 ill. There will be future projects to get involved in. A local Forest scho
 ol and Rainton Meadows are working with us. Find out more at this event in
