DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Village Carol Service will be held on Monday 15th Dec
 ember at 6.30pm. We encourage you to come early as this is our most popula
 r service of the year!\n\nThis year the Village School (https://westrainto
 nprimary.durham.sch.uk/) will be featured again and\, with luck\, we will 
 again be treated to a performance on the hand-bells.\n\nWe will also be jo
 ined by West Rainton Youth Group\, part of Durham Area Youth.\n\nThe carol
  service itself follows the traditional path of the nativity with well-kno
 w carols\, and is followed by mulled wine and mince pies. We will also be 
 accepting donations of food for Durham Foodbank. The collection at this se
 rvice is also for Durham Foodbank.\n\nWe look forward to seeing both villa
 ge residents and visitors to this great celebration of the birth of our Lo
 rd!
