It was good to be able to offer public worship at St Nicholas' Church this morning. Numbers were down, and it is likely that some people do not feel that it would be wise for them to attend services while we are in Tier 4. Of course, that is a decision that we respect and fully support - while public worship is permitted, please don't feel under any pressure to attend if you know that it is wisest for you to stay at home. Do take advantage of the various online, tv, radio, or telephone services available instead. For those who do attend in person, we each in our varying circumstances make a calculated risk, and while we continue to make the space as safe as possible, we need to honour one another by following the necessary modifications to our actions, including sanitising our hands, wearing face masks, and maintaining physical distance. Please note that Tier 4 restrictions apply. For further information on what is and is not permissable, see https://www.gov.uk/guidance/local-restriction-tiers-what-you-need-to-know
