DESCRIPTION:Resourcing Faith is a series of educational talks\, study morn
 ings and other events hosted jointly by St Bene't's and Little St Mary's\,
  two Church of England parish churches in the centre of Cambridge. We seek
  to invite a range of speakers across Christian traditions who will help l
 ead us deeper into the Christian faith\, resourcing the Church in knowledg
 e and wisdom.\n\nIn this series Cally Hammond explores the way the Christi
 an faith is taught and studied\, focussing on the writing of St Augustine 
 of Hippo. Location: St Bene’t’s Church Bene't Street Cambridge CB2 3PT
 \n\nWho teaches the teachers? St Augustine and the learning of the Christi
 an faith\n\nHow do we learn and teach the Christian faith? How do we use t
 he Scriptures and Christian doctrine? This study morning will explore thes
 e questions\, drawing on the work of St Augustine\, one of the most influe
 ntial theologians in the Western Church.\n\nCally Hammond is Dean of Caius
  College\, Cambridge. She has translated numerous works of St Augustine\, 
 and published books on spirituality. She teaches and researches in the are
 as of early Christian history and doctrine\, and liturgy.\n\nCoffee is ava
 ilable from 10am with the study morning beginning at 10.30am.
