 eath on the Cross.  By that Holy Cross\, we have been redeemed.  Jesus Chr
 ist foretold his Passion to the Apostles\, instituted the Eucharist at the
  Last Supper\, and fulfilled God's plan for human salvation at Calvary upo
 n that Holy Cross.  This\, my friends\, is the greatest love ever known to
  humankind\; by the grace of God\, we will come to know the fullness of Go
 d's love in eternity.  The promise of eternal salvation was made possible 
 upon that Cross and we\, as Catholics\, are called to pick up our cross an
 d follow Christ daily.
