UPDATE ON CHURCH CLOSURES: With the start of this national lockdown each Parochial Church Council has reviewed our arrangements for Sunday worship and private prayer in church, in line with guidance from the Bishops in the Ely Diocese. With heavy hearts we have decided to cease Sunday services in all of our churches for the rest of January 2021. This is to keep each other safe by reducing the risk of spreading the virus among ourselves and our local communities. It also heeds the national message of “stay at home.” Churches will not be routinely open for private prayer but for Swavesey, Longstanton and Over, the churches can be opened on request and it is currently still possible (with very limited numbers) to hold a funeral in church during this period. Please contact either Revd Simon or Revd Lucy initially in either case. Contact details for all the ministry team can be found on the 5folds website www.5folds.org.uk/contact-us Our decisions mirror those taken by neighbouring churches in our locality. This situation will be reviewed at the end of the month.
