DESCRIPTION:St John’s\, Ashley Green will hold its 86th Anniversary Serv
 ice of Thanksgiving for the Battle of Britain on Sunday 13 September at 11
 :15am. Led by The Rev. Dr. Tim Yates\, the service offers a moment for our
  community to gather in gratitude and remembrance.\n\nWe will be joined by
  veterans\, and wreaths will be laid around the war memorial following the
  service. The atmosphere is always deeply moving\, especially during the b
 ugle playing The Last Post\, a moment that resonates with all who attend.\
 n\nAs the number of veterans able to be present becomes fewer\, we warmly 
 encourage the community to join us in remembering those who gave their liv
 es so that we may live in freedom\, and in honouring those who are still w
 ith us.\n\nAll are welcome at this act of remembrance.
