What's happening in our church as we come out of lock down?

We are delighted that we can now offer a space for people to come and pray. Social distancing, one way system and all that is needed to make you feel safe and to be at peace in church.

Regular online services continue, via the Brookdean Benefice page on facebook or via the link on any of our churches websites -

Morning Prayer 9am daily Monday to Saturday.

Evening Prayer 5pm daily Monday to Saturday.

Both morning and evening prayer follow the basic Common worship format available on We only use the New testament reading and we have a hymn for those who like to sing!

Sunday service - An act of Spiritual Communion 10.30am. Following the basic Common Worship for communion with hymns, readings, and address.

We have been delighted to welcome people from across the benefice and beyond to these services, especially those who are isolating or housebound for other reasons and not normally able to 'get to church'.

Sunday Communion 4pm. Now that worship is possible in our church buildings we are currently have a short and simple service of Holy Communion (Common Worship modern language) in one of the benefice churches - Ruardean, Lydbrook or Drybrook. Details of which church for a given Sunday can be found on our website.

We look forward to welcoming you online or in person.

We are not yet able to have this church open for personal prayer at regular times. Please contact the Rector if you are planning a visit and would like to have time in the church to pray. we will do or best to make that possible.
