DESCRIPTION:This Sunday\, August 23rd is the International Day for the Rem
 embrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition (also known as Slavery Remem
 brance Day)\, designated by UNESCO to honor the victims and fighters of th
 e transatlantic slave trade. We have Lois Bosatta\, Director of the Clewer
  Initiative\, coming to preach. and share with us the reality of modern da
 y slavery in the UK\; the trafficking and exploitation of vulnerable men\,
  women\, and children. It is an issue that is estimated to affect well ove
 r 100\,000 people in the UK alone. We will come together on Sunday to lear
 n more\, to praise our God who brings release to the captives\, to lament 
 for the sins of the past\, and to be emboldened by the Holy Spirit to play
  our role in creating a better future for all within our communities. \n\n
 Refreshments are available before the service from 10.30am and also after
