DESCRIPTION:Join us to make Christingles in the church centre followed by 
 a short but joyous and bright celebration in church. Don't miss the magica
 l moment when we each light the candles in the centre of our very own Chri
 stingles.\n\nThis is a free event with materials provided and no booking r
 equired. But donations are welcome towards the support of our Mission Part
 ner\, Revd Helen Champion\, Gloucester City Deanery Youth Connector. \n\nC
 hristingles are made using oranges\, red ribbon\, sweets and dried fruits 
 and a candle. Each element of a Christingle has a special meaning and help
 s to tell the Christian story:\n\n    The orange represents the world\n   
  The red ribbon symbolises the love and blood of Christ\n    The sweets an
 d dried fruit represent all of God’s creations\n    The lit candle repre
 sents Jesus’s light in the world\, bringing hope to people living in dar
 kness.
