 ervice where candidates affirm the promises made at their baptism\, either
  on their behalf as a baby\, or by themselves later in life . The Bishop l
 ays hands on the candidates' heads\, asking for God’s Holy Spirit to gra
 nt them strength to live in God’s way. It’s also a chance for those al
