 e on the Sunday after Epiphany and focuses on the second of the three them
 es of the season of Epiphany. The first theme is the recognition of the in
 fant Jesus as the Christ. We mark this on the Epiphany when the Magi final
 ly found the two-year-old Jesus and then at the conclusion of the season w
 hen we remember Jesus’ Presentation in the Temple. The second theme of t
 he season is Jesus’ baptism by his cousin John and the third is marked o
 n the second Sunday of Epiphany when we reflect upon the ordinary water be
 ing turned into extraordinary wine at a wedding celebration in Cana.  \n\n
