  and Epiphany with the celebration of Candlemas on 2 February. At that ser
 vice we turned our attention away from the cradle of the baby Jesus toward
 s the cross\, upon which Jesus gave his life for us. Ash Wednesday is 14 F
 ebruary this year and we will have two services of Holy Communion with Imp
 osition of Ashes\, at 9.00am (preceded by Morning Prayer at 8.30am) and 7.
 30pm Choral Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes (preceded by \nEvening Pray
 er at 5.30pm). We will also be broadcasting Evensong on BBC Radio 3 at 4pm
