Church of England Diocese of Lincoln Braceborough

As we look out for each other in Braceborough during Lockdown 2

Hello fellow ‘Braceborians’,

So lockdown mark 2 is here.

We would like to confirm that we are still running a list of volunteers that are able and willing to help with shopping, prescription pick-ups etc. If anyone would like any assistance then please contact, Sue Holloway 07801 724894, Sue Cook 07736 958755 or Keith Wright 01778 560258.

The local shops are still operating and Mill Farm Butchers are happy to take orders over the phone, do contactless pick-ups and wherever possible do deliveries. Bowthorpe Farm also offer a weekly delivery service. Ryhall post office offer more than just papers as do Baston and Thurlby Post offices. Local pubs will be reinstating their takeaway services and The Morton Fish and Chip van is in Greatford on a Friday evening.

Braceborough has already proven to be a strong community and I am sure it will continue through these strange and sometimes difficult times.

If you are not aware, there is a very successful WhatsApp group which has been set up by Dave Kentish and Paul Morris, if you are not already a member but would like join then please contact Dave or Paul. Keith Wright is the keeper of the village email distribution list, please forward his details to anyone you know what would like to be included in these emails.

Keep Safe and Keep Well
