Coronavirus (COVID. 19)

St Michael and All Angels’ Church, Uffington remain open for private prayer between the hours of 10am and 4pm, and should you wish to use your local church building then please contact a Church Warden or me and we will find a way to meet your needs.

Face coverings are no longer mandatory however we may choose to wear them to keep others safe. Please wear a mask to protect others if you have been in places where you may have picked up the virus and you haven’t taken a lateral flow test. Extra masks will be available in all churches, hand sanitisers will be easily accessible and seating away from others is available, there is plenty of room for all! Face coverings are mainly intended to protect others and I realise that they are inconvenient, but a small sacrifice to make to keep others safe. Infection rates are increasing around here. Those infected are, in the main, recovering well but it is still disruptive to isolate.

If you would like a lateral flow test kit ask Fr Aran; he carries a fresh box in his bag at all times.

Rev'd Martin or Carole continues to produce a great prayer sheet to help our prayers throughout the week. If you know anyone who would like to receive this then let us know and we can add them to our list. Please let me know of any prayer requests. I would like to pray for all of those in need, especially by name if you will allow me. I’d also like to give thanks for all of the good news so please let me know if you’ve got a new job, or engaged and I can pray for those things too!

Please take care, keep yourself safe.

Please, if you need help at all or are feeling anxious please call or text Fr Aran Tel. 07590 055905.

We will endeavour to update this notice as the situation develops.
