Holy Communion, which is also called the Eucharist, the Lord's Supper or Mass is a service of Word and Sacrament in which the Holy Scriptures are read, prayers are offered, and bread and wine are consecrated and received as the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

Our service at West Deeping, is taken from Common Worship and we use contemporary language, ALL are very welcome.
If you prefer a more traditional service Holy Communion based on the Book of Common Prayer is held at our sister church within the Uffington Group at Greatford every second and fourth Sunday starting at 9am.

Saturday

The Feast of St Andrew the Apostle

Saturday 30 November 2019 at 10 a.m. for 45m

Church Lane
West Deeping
Peterborough

At the spiritual heart of West Deeping is our church which is dedicated to Saint Andrew the Apostle and this dates back at least 750 years. Every year on the 30th November we remember especially our Patron Saint, Saint Andrew the Apostle.
Andrew was the older brother of Simon Peter, a fisherman, a disciple of John the Baptist, and the first disciple called to follow Jesus Christ. ... In Christianity today, he is revered for doing something that would have been extraordinarily hard for anyone to do: being first.
After this short 'said service' we will have our coffee morning - ALL are very welcome.
