The Corby Glen Group of Parishes

The Corby Glen Group of Parishes includes Bassingthorpe, Bitchfield, Burton-le-Coggles, Corby Glen, Irnham and Swayfield in rural south-west Lincolnshire.

Each day our benefice website, Corby Glen Group Virtual Church, makes available a service of Daily Prayer or Holy Communion including a reflection or sermon based on the gospel for that day. The services can be subscribed to as podcasts:

In addition the reflections are available as a separate podcast:

Three of our churches open every day for private prayer: Burton-le-Coggles, Corby Glen and Irnham.

The whole benefice is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO, for the whole benefice. The Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. Contact details are available via each individual church page.
