DESCRIPTION:Posada is an old Mexican tradition in which figures of Mary an
 d Joseph stay at people’s homes and businesses in the run up to Christma
 s.\n\nA small set of wooden Mary and Joseph figures travel around differen
 t homes and businesses in the parish during advent. They need a house to s
 tay at each night. Everyone is welcome to offer a home for them for the ni
 ght.\n\nThe Posada ends on Wednesday 24th December at 10am when the figure
 s arrive at Wellingore Church.\n\nWe invite everyone\, who has taken part 
 in the Posada and those who haven’t\, to come Wellingore Church that day
  to join us for the very short 20-minute service\, welcoming Mary and Jose
 ph ready for the birth of Christ.
