DESCRIPTION:St Mary's Church - Knaith is taking part in the Festival on th
 e First Weekend of the Festival - Saturday the 10th and Sunday 11th of May
 \, and is open from 10.00am to 4pm on both days. You are assured of a warm
  and friendly welcome to our unique Church in its stunning setting by the 
 side of the mighty River Trent.\n\nRefreshments and lots of cake will be a
 vailable\, along with a free guided tour and an amazing history\, includin
 g tales of intrigue and fortunes won and lost\, calamity and tragedy.  We 
 are a dog friendly church\, dogs on leads are most welcome. Oh\, and did I
  mention -  lots of cake!\n\nPlenty of free off road car parking is availa
 ble close to our church. Look out for the Festival Banners at the entrance
  to the estate off the A156 road in the village of Knaith. The church is n
 ot visible from the main A156 road\, we are a hidden gem close to the rive
