DESCRIPTION:Lincolnshire was part of the Viking 'Danelaw' and saw extensiv
 e Scandinavian settlement. We'll look at the historical and archaeological
  evidence for the Vikings in Lincolnshire which present a fascinating stor
 y. This year is the 50th Anniversary of the Viking Way\, so called because
  of all the Viking settlements it goes through\, come along and find out m
 ore.\nDr Kevin Leahy will do a 90 minute talk with a break in the middle f
 or cake and refreshments. He will answer questions afterwards.\nDr Leahy h
 as been involved in Lincolnshire Archaeology for more than 50 years\, for 
 29 of which he was at the North Lincolnshire Museum for which he carried o
 ut major excavations. He now works for the British Museum and is responsib
 le\, amongst other things for Viking Treasure finds.\nTickets are £10 and
  include a drink and cake. All money raised for Cadney Church funds\, to h
