DESCRIPTION:After the Morning Prayer Service\, St. Margaret's at Roughton 
 will be holding the Annual Parish Meeting in the church.\n\nThe purpose of
  this meeting is to elect the churchwardens for this next year (2026/27). 
 Every person on the electoral roll for Roughton Parish has the right to at
 tend and vote for their church wardens - who are the essential link betwee
 n the church and the people who live in the parish.\n\nAt the conclusion o
 f that meeting the Annual Church Meeting will commence. This meeting is op
 en to all who are on the Church Electoral Roll at St. Margaret's.\nItems o
 n the agenda include the approval of the auditor for the church accounts f
 or 2026\, the reports on the accounts\, the fabric of the church\, church 
 activities\, a ministry report and the election of the two Joint Church Co
 uncil (JCC) members. \nIf you are eligible and able to attend either or bo
 th of these meetings\, please do so.\n\nThis is your village church\, it i
 s there for you for all the important milestones in family life - for fami
 ly weddings\, for baptisms (all ages!) and at the end\, the funerals of yo
 ur loved ones.
